Don't Worry About Anything!

Philippians 4: 6-7 says: Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God's peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. Tell God what you need. Even though he already knows. Invite him into your life. Ask God for his peace. You're running around worried, losing your mind and God is at peace because he knows that you are going to be ok. He knows that your situation is going to turn around for your good. He is waiting for you. If you go to him he will give you his peace. Everyone knows the verse, "Jesus wept", Jesus knows what you are going through, he can see what your future looks like, he knows all about it, and EVEN STILL he will cry with you. He feels your pain, he knows you're hurting. Allow him to give you the peace you need to sleep at night, to focus during the day, to enjoy the life you have without worrying about tomorrow. We have to learn that having peace is more important than any material thing you can ever have. Think about it. It's a lot of rich people running around miserable, committing suicide, turning to drugs etc. Why? because they don't have peace. Money does not bring you peace, material things will not bring you peace. Yes, they'll bring you happiness for a moment, but I'd rather be happy for a lifetime. Its amazing how we worry, and at the same time shout "He's an on time God". I'm guilty of this too, I will admit. We all have our days. We even feel like sometimes he's late, but you have to remember we are on Gods time, never our own. Therefore, he is never late. Remember Lazarus. Jesus brought him back from the dead after being in the grave for 4 days. Remember how his Mary and Martha thought Jesus was too late. Although! Sometimes we want things to change RIGHT NOW, but GOD wants us to wait a little bit longer. Sometimes he is stretching us, he needs us to grow. He also needs you to let go of things and people you have already outgrown. (I'll leave this for another blog.) In the mean time Shine Brightly for Christ Do everything without complaining and arguing, so that no one can criticize you. Live clean, innocent lives as children of God, shining like bright lights in a world full of crooked and perverse people. (Philippians 2: 14-15)
